My very first PICO-8 game! Train your penguin, launch it every 10 days, try to reach 32,000m before time runs out!

Core Loop

  • 100 days split into 10-day training blocks
  • Each day, pick a stat to train or rest to recover energy
  • Every 10th day is launch day 

Training

  • 5 stats: speed, stamina, glide, slide, special
  • Training costs energy; low energy increases fail chance
  • Full energy = guaranteed success
  • Daily events shake things up: lucky days, rainy days, coach visits, and more

Launch

  • Mash X during countdown to boost starting velocity
  • Stamina powers active flight, then glide takes over
  • Landing transitions to an ice slide — slide stat determines carry distance
  • Each stat has a distinct role across the full flight arc

Progression

  • 8 distance milestones
  • Hit your goal to advance zones; miss and you've burned a cycle
  • Earn pebbles from distance, spend them in the ability shop
  • 17 purchasable abilities across all 5 stat categories
  • Prestige when all stats are maxed — raises caps, keeps abilities
